"This project explored the use of colour in an abstract piece of work and how different emotions and reactions can be invoked via the varying use of tone/shade. I began by making a collage of recognisable shapes and pictures, layered up in a somewhat unexpected way. This fabricated an opportunity for creating new, almost alien, landscapes - especially when inverting the colours.
This also developed a new perspective; taking the shapes out of their original context and giving them completely unique interpretations to the viewer."
