Second hand clothing is full of stories, they have lived so many lives before us, maybe even before we were born!
At Saffron Skies we make sustainable fashion and homewares from recycled, second-hand and discarded materials, giving them a new life to be worn and loved again for years to come.
Instead of following trends, we move slowly and mindfully with the seasons to create timeless pieces that will be brought out year on year.
We make festival bucket hats out of vintage Levis that could have been worn to the first ever Glastonbury...
And tote bags out of plaid shirts that may have been worn on first dates or wedding days.
We use magnificent saree fabrics that have seen cities we've never been to...
Intricately embroidered table linens that have hosted hundreds of cups of teas with friends...
And cotton curtains that once draped the windows of clifftop cottages by the sea.
Our products are all completely one of a kind, crafted entirely by hand from fabrics which have history woven into their threads.
